The following comprehensive terms and conditions are designed to ensure mutual understanding and an enjoyable experience for all parties involved. Kindly review them thoroughly prior to confirming your booking.
We strongly recommend that guests secure comprehensive holiday insurance prior to finalizing their booking. Such coverage can safeguard against unforeseen cancellations, disruptions, or other liabilities you may incur before or during your stay.
1. Booking Methodology: Reservations are accepted exclusively through our official online booking platform available at www.staymourne.com. Your booking is considered provisional until confirmed via email from Staymourne.
2. Financial Policy: Reservations can be made more than 60 days in advance and will be held at no charge, a 30% deposit must be paid 60 days before the check-in date and the remaining balance 7 days before the check-in date. Payments must be made through the online booking system, as we currently do not accept reservations via email, phone, or social media.
3. Occupancy Limitations: Reservations are for the number of occupants stated at the time of booking. Any change in the number of guests must be explicitly authorized by Staymourne, for which written confirmation should be sought from pauline@staymourne.com.
4. Age restrictions: The person named on the reservation must be over 25 years of age on the day of check-in.
- Check-In Time: Commences at 16:00 (4:00 PM) local time on your arrival date.
- Check-Out Deadline: Must be completed by 11:00 AM local time on your departure date.
- Late or Early Arrival/Departure: If you anticipate arriving after 21:00 (9:00 PM), you must inform us in advance to make appropriate arrangements. If you require a late check-out or early check-in these options can be selected at the time of booking on staymourne.com for an additional fee and subject to availability.
- On departure all doors and windows should be closed, and external doors should be locked.
1. Standard Cancellations: Free cancellation is offered for cancellations made more than 60 days prior to the scheduled check-in date.
2. Short-Notice Cancellations: For cancellations within 60 and more than 7 days of the check-in date, the 30% deposit will not be refunded.
3. Very Short-Notice Cancellations: For cancellations within 7 days of the check-in date no refund will be issued.
4. Special Circumstances: Exceptions may be made for unforeseen life events, such as family illness or bereavement. Such cases will be reviewed on an individual basis.
5. Failure to Appear: Guests who do not arrive as scheduled are responsible for the full cost of their booking, including any optional extras ordered at the time of booking.
1. Noise Control: For the comfort and peace of all guests and neighbors, please limit outdoor noise after 23:00 (11:00 PM). You will be required to leave without a refund in the event of a noise complaint.
2. Behavioral Guidelines: Unacceptable or antisocial behavior, including but not limited to violence, intimidation, and harassment, will result in immediate eviction without reimbursement.
3. Please ensure all external doors and windows are locked when not occupying the house.
4. Please only park on the driveway at all times, space is available for 3 cars, staymourne is not liable for any loss or damage from vehicles parked at the property.
5. Please turn off all external lights at night when not in use and turn off all internal lights and electrical appliances when not in use.
1. Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit of £200 is due upon arrival and will held against the credit card used for the booking, this hold will be released 1 day after check-out subject to review of the property. Please note that any damage or loss is not limited to the deposit amount and actual costs will be passed on.
2. Damage Accountability: Guests will be held financially responsible for any damage or loss inflicted upon the property, facilities, or furnishings beyond reasonable wear and tear. It is recommended that any external footwear be removed when walking on carpeted areas to avoid any soiling. Any spills, stains, or marks should be cleaned immediately.
3. Additional Cleaning Fees: Should the property be left in an unusually disordered state, additional cleaning charges may be applied.
1. Hot Tub Regulations: Guests must adhere strictly to all safety and usage guidelines for the hot tub as provided in the Guest Information Booklet. If you are using tanning or body lotions these must be removed prior to entering the Hot Tub, lotions and fake tan can damage the Hot Tub filtration system and you may be subject to an additional cleaning charge as a result.
2. Child Safety: Children are to be supervised at all times. Their safety and well-being are the responsibility of their parents or guardians.
3. Slips, trips & falls: Guests are responsible for ensuring floor surfaces are kept dry and clear of obstructions at all times. Guests should dry off completely when exiting the hot tub, bath, or shower and use the provided floor mats to avoid any slips or falls.
4. Personal electrical equipment: Guests are responsible for the safe working condition of any electrical devices they bring to the property. Unplug any devices when not in use and supervise any devices that could cause fire or burns e.g. hair straighteners.
1. Animal Policy: Only registered service animals are permitted on the premises.
2. Smoking or vaping: Strictly prohibited within the property and its immediate surroundings.
3. Combustibles: Due to fire safety regulations, the use of candles, fireworks, or any source of open flame is not permitted. The barbecue must remain outside at all times and be turned off when not in use, it is fitted with its own ignition system and lighters or matches must not be used to ignite it. When in use the barbecue, ovens, and hob must be supervised at all times.
4. Events and parties: Not permitted without the written authorization of the host.
1. COVID-19 Adjustments: In case of a lockdown, we offer flexible rebooking options or refunds, subject to a 5% administrative fee.
2. Staymourne is not responsible for cancellations or disruptions due to extreme weather, carrier failure, breakdown, missed or delayed departure, utility failure other acts of God.
